On April 21, UVCA (Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association) with the support of WNISEF Fund hosted the final of start-ups competition. The winner will represent Ukraine at the international competition SVOD (Silicon Valley Open Doors) – one of the largest start-up world conference that will take place in May 25-26 in Mountain View.
“Unfortunately, today many start-ups are faced with the problem of funding not only for project development but also for participating in international conferences. That is why we provide Ukrainian startup a chance for free pitch at SVOD stage, after which historically, every 2nd project receives funding“- says the executive director of the Association of International Investors Olga Afanasyeva. – Our goal is not only to present the Ukrainian start-up, but also Ukraine and its investment opportunities. For the first time Ukrainian Association becomes SVOD partner and presents achievements of the local investment market. ”

In addition, the jury decided to award the second place with the ticket for SVOD. Of course, the chance to perform has only the winner, but Cluise team (clever Stylist application – a personal shopping assistant) will mingle with 400+ investors during the conference.
